Could I actually be getting the weekend off work???? Oh my. I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Wait. Yes, I would. Wedding stuff, job hunting, working, out and maybe...just maybe RELAXING. Imagine that. I need the money, but I think I need the rest more so i will continue to hope for the day off.

I spent some time in home depot yesterday. One of the workers kept following me around...asking me random questions. I just wanted to look at the pretty floors, not be thrown random facts or be asked questions that leave me puzzled and lost without the answer.

I think I've decided to keep the carpet in the bedrooms that is already there. It's in really good condition...I think we'll just clean it. It will save money. I wanted carpet in the bedrooms anyway, but I was going to spend money on new carpet..a lighter, prettier color. However, there are more things in the house that need to be fixed/changed/replaced that could use the money more. In the bathroom I plan to do vinyl tile. It's cheap and easy to put in. My dad is wonderful at putting floors in, but he will be 800 miles away. So he can only do so much when he comes to visit. He's coming in July to put laminate wood floor in the rest of the house...living room, dining room, kitchen. Hm kitchen. That's why I was in Home depot. Trying to decide if I wanted vinyl tile or laminate wood in the kitchen.

I saw some pretty vinyl tile that I would have loved for the kitchen, but the ones I liked were way too expensive. The cheaper ones are making me lean more towards laminate wood. So I guess I'll just scrub our current vinyl tile in the kitchen and wait until Daddy Dearest comes up in July to put the new floor in.

I took the kids to Chucke e cheese's today. They had a blast. It was adorable. All morning they kept asking if it was time to go. Finally went and they loved it. They had pizza and soda- a very special treat, and played until it was time to get prizes and go home for nap. The little one fell asleep on the way home. He was beat. I was too.

I don't know about you, but I could sure use a vacation. I am so overwelmed with...EVERYTHING! My last day of work is next wed so that should give me a bit more time, but I am so ready to pull my hair out...wedding planning, packing, work, job hunting, getting ready to move, etc.

It's only 16 days until the wedding! aah! I am so excited. I am so ready for D to get here and for this long distance relationship to be OVER. woohooo! So close!

My dress fitting was amazing. I do have to get a lot taken in so I go back on Tuesday.
I am so in love with my dress. It looks even better now that I've lost weight and
I feel like a princess in it. I can't wait until D sees me in it. We're just 20 days from
the big day. I can't believe it.

I still have a lot of little details to take care of. Well, not too many, but
it feels like I have a ton! I need to get working on the bulletins. I originally
wasn't going to do any, but decided too. I am so not creative. I've been putting
off doing them, but I'll probably just keep them simple. Hopefully, they'll come
out okay.


I've just started the job hunt for after the move. I really hope I get something quick.
I'm a bit disappointed that since I didn't major in social work I can't be a licensed
social worker, BUT I can be a Social Work Case Worker which is very similiar.
I majored in criminal justice & psychology. I hope to get my masters in Social Work- once I get my
darn student loans paid off. blah.

Well. I'm going back to the partayyy. I'll try and catch up with everyone tonight!

My first wedding dress fitting!!! I am so excited...and nervous. I've lost a lot of weight since I first tried on and bought my dress. I hope I still love it as much as that first day!

I am so exhausted between job hunting, work, wedding planning, getting ready to move, etc. I usually work 6 days a week and I am beat! Today is my day off and I've been running around doing errands and meetings. I need a day just to relax!

My bridal shower was yesterday afternoon. It was so wonderful. I had such a great time, but unfortunately have no pictures to prove it! That's the one thing I'm disappointed about. We got a lot of wonderful gifts and gift cards that I'm excited to use.=) Everyone was so sweet and thoughtful.

I actually went beforehand to get my makeup done. My mom has a friend from church that sells Mary Kay so she gave me a makeover! It was wonderful. She will also be doing my makeup for the wedding. She did an absolutely amazing job. I just felt stunning...so beautiful. It was great to feel special. I don't often wear makeup because most of my days are spent around the house with the little ones & working out. I purchased some mary kay face care products from her and plan to get some makeup too. I loved the products and once I'm working a job outside of the home...and even for the future husband...and myself I want to look amazing and feel special.

When I arrived home from my bridal shower there were boxes waiting for me. D always says he can never surprise me, but he got me good this time. The first box was a dozen roses; red, pink, and my favorite..WHITE! I love white and vendella (ivory colored) roses. We're using vendella roses for all of the wedding flowers. There was an adorable vase- white with pink & red polka dots. aah. I was so excited. When we first met D always said he would never buy anyone flowers so it was a wonderful surprise. The second box was an adorable bear hug bear. He is so unbelievably soft. In his arms were a fake boquet of flowers made from like a velour material? No idea what I'll do with those, however, the bear has found its way to my bed! I love gifts I can cuddle with when D isn't here. The last thing in the box was a heart shaped box of chocolates. yum. He knows my weakness. I haven't had any, YET, but my mom was loving them! My favorite gift of all was the card. He wrote the sweetest message.

I'll have to share a photo I have with me and the gifts later. D received his gifts from me last week, but earlier this week I ended up also ordering him something from edible arrangements...a box of a dozen chocolate covered apples and strawberries. He loved them. If we weren't already engaged he would have popped the question after the first bite haha. Needless to say, he did not share with his family and the chocolate covered fruit didn't last a day!

I love Edible Arrangements and would reccomend them to anyone. I might have to pick up a box of chocolate covered fruits for our wedding weekend. It would be a nice treat for both the hubby and myself to enjoy!

I enjoyed my early valentines day, but he makes me feel special EVERYDAY. I'm a very lucky woman.

My wedding dress arrived on Thursday and I go this coming thursday for my first fitting. I'm a bit nervous. I hope I love the dress as much as I did when I first tried it on. I'll probably love it even more, though, I've lost around 20 pounds since the first time I tried it on.

Sorry for the lack of posting and replies to comments. I've been wicked sick for almost a week now. =( I'm exhausted and having trouble keeping up with everything. This week has been SO busy. I am exhausted already. My birthday is Friday (woohoo) and I'll be nannying for 12 hours. I work really long days and Fridays are the worst.

I actually get saturday off which is nice. I have to go meet with our dj at 8 am, though. blah. I miss being able to sleep in. I'll be going out for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with my parents and brother. I can't wait to try the red velvet cheesecake *drool*. I haven't been there in ages. I am in love with California Pizza. Thank goodness there's one in Alabama! A little bummed that the fiance isn't here to spend my birthday with me. I have to work sunday too...

I received my utensil crock today from csn that I'm going to do a review for. I'll try and post my review and the giveaway I'm doing (not sponsored, but the review was) sometime this weekend... I have so much to do. I have most of the giveaway info written up, but not my review. I may even be able to get it done tomorrow, that's being REALLY optimistic.

I need to start job hunting too. ugh. Not looking forward to that. It seems that every job opportunity requires experience and how can you get experience if noone will give you a chance! Apparently, a degree doesn't count for much anymore!
